Port St. Lucie scored three runs in the fourth inning. The big inning for Port St. Lucie came thanks to a single by Aj Ward and a groundout by Mike Williams.
Aaron Diaz earned the victory on the pitcher’s mound for Port St. Lucie. He lasted four innings, allowing five hits and one run while striking out six. Williams threw three innings in relief out of the bullpen.
Anthony Gomez took the loss for Centennial Eagles. He went five and a third innings, allowing six runs on five hits and striking out two.
Brandon Bernstein went 3-for-4 at the plate to lead Centennial Eagles in hits.
