Centennial Eagles JV’s pitchers didn’t allow a single hit, as the Eagles JV defeated Port St. Lucie 8-3 on Saturday.
Centennial didn’t take the lead until later in the game. Bobby Boden drew a walk, scoring one run. The Eagles JV got on the board in the first inning. Darnel Joseph drove in one when he singled.
Michael Waldrop earned the win for the Eagles. He went two innings, allowing two runs on zero hits and striking out five.
Nick took the loss for Port St. Lucie. He allowed two hits and six runs over two innings, striking out two.
Charlie Alonso started the game for Centennial. He allowed zero hits and one run over two innings, striking out four.
Joseph, Thomas Freitas, Waldrop, and Jayden Tavera each collected one hit to lead Centennial.
